What this site collects, and what we do with it.
Short version: the audit form collects five things you type and we store them in our own Azure account to run your audit and reply; Google Analytics counts visits and records when a request is accepted, without advertising features; nothing is sold or shared with anyone.

The audit form
When you request a free audit, the form sends us your name, your business name, your email address, your website address, and, if you add one, a one-line note. That is all it asks for. Every field has a length cap, and line breaks and control characters are stripped before anything is stored.
With those fields we record the time of the request, your browser's identifying string, and a hash of your network address. The address itself is never stored: it is run through SHA-256 and only the first half of the result is kept, which cannot be turned back into the address. The hash is stored with your request and counted for one hour so that a single source cannot flood the form; after five requests in an hour the form refuses until the hour is up.
The form carries a hidden checkbox that a person never sees. Automated submissions that tick it are discarded without being stored.
Two emails go out when a request is accepted: a confirmation to the address you gave, and a notification to us. Both contain what you typed and nothing else.
Where it is stored
Requests are written to a table in a Microsoft Azure storage account that belongs to VIIS, in Azure's East US 2 region. The two emails are sent through Azure Communication Services from the same account. No third-party form tool, mailing service, or marketing platform sits in that path.
The hosting platform, Azure Static Web Apps, keeps its own standard operational logs. Our own application logs record the hostname you submitted and a prefix of the hash, never a name or an email address.
Who sees it
One person: Jadrin Garcia, the principal of VIIS. Your request is used to run the audit, write the report, and reply to you. It is not used for a newsletter, it is not added to any list, and it is never sold, rented, or shared with another business.
We keep audit requests for as long as we need them to run the audit and follow up on it. Ask and we delete yours.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4, property G-MHQNGNC9YY, to count visits and to record when an audit request is accepted, so we know whether the site is doing its job. On each page it loads it sends Google the page address, the page you came from, the time, your browser and operating system, your screen size, and an approximate location derived from your network address, down to city level. Google does not log or store the address itself.
The property is configured so that it does not build an advertising profile of you and does not connect your visit to Google's ad products: Google Signals is off, so no cross-device tracking and no demographic or interest data; ads personalization is off; and user-provided data collection is off, so nothing you type on this site, including on the audit form, is sent to Google. The one event beyond page views, sent when a request is accepted, carries no form data.
Google keeps the event-level data for fourteen months, then deletes it; aggregated reports remain. Google processes this traffic on its own servers under its own terms, which may place it outside the United States.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies,_ga and _ga_MHQNGNC9YY, each lasting up to two years, to tell a returning visit from a new one. They are set when a page loads; there is no consent banner. Blocking or deleting them in your browser does not affect the site or the form, and with scripts disabled the analytics never loads at all.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your details with anyone.
- We do not send marketing email. A request gets a confirmation and a reply, and that is all.
- We do not embed social media, advertising pixels, chat widgets, or any third-party script other than Google Analytics.
- We do not collect anything from you that the form does not show you.
Your choices
Email us and we will send you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. There is no form for this and no waiting period: it is a reply from a person. For analytics, block the two cookies above or use Google's opt-out browser add-on; nothing on the site depends on them.
